We have to move the website to a different server. Can we do a back up and restore or a whole new install? If we have to do a new install what do we do when it comes to the database? Do we create a database with the same name we already have on the other server or what?

if you need, we can do it for you, transfer site from old server to new one will cost extra $10

you should create site backup and base backup too, then copy site into the new server and insert base into the phpMyadmin then open config file and change usernames base name and password

a couple more questions for you. When the testimonials display there is a talk box around them. I like it very much. How is that created? Is it a Module Class Suffix? Also what are all the Module Class Suffix that can be used? I want to create a box around one of my modules. How can I do that with this template

jadams

Ok, I have reinstalled the site and got everything. Now I can not find how to edit the "Listen Live" and "On Air" at the top.

George Bennett
· 24 January 2017 - 18:23:44

as I see you have installed it correctly

jadams
· 23 January 2017 - 20:15:33

At no time during the installation did I see any errors. Once the site was up, none of the start up data was there. But, I did not see any errors. I have had to turn on everything that I wanted to see. I have checked the data base and there are three sets of tables. d2s1d_, ov0sj_ and the rr673_. The best that I can tell I am connected to the rr673_ tables prefix

jadams

I got the Banners to work, I had to change the Configuration.php line $live_site = from ' '; to 'http://MyStar95.com/';

jadams
· 23 January 2017 - 20:14:34

If I re-install will I lose everything I have done already?

George Bennett
· 23 January 2017 - 20:14:29

yes

jadams
· 23 January 2017 - 17:53:02

My banners do not click through. It always returns to the to MyStar95.com basic frame.

webdev
· 23 January 2017 - 17:53:06

can you point about which banner are you talking about ?

jadams
· 23 January 2017 - 17:52:58

So because, you say I did not use the correct prefix, do I have to re-install the entire site?

webdev
· 23 January 2017 - 17:52:53

Yes of course, you should install it with correct prefix, without it you will see error, correct prefix you can find in the template documentation. Please see video tutorial: How to install Radio station joomla responsive template

jadams
· 19 January 2017 - 02:49:33

I have followed all instructions. I installed with content and in the end the site does not render at all like the template displays. MyStar95.com is the site.

George Bennett
· 19 January 2017 - 02:49:20
